About this curriculum

Six sessions. Six MOVEs. A real-world journey for men — at the table, in the wild, with friends, alone. From the Heart and Soul series. Originally developed for the men of Mission Hills Church, Littleton, CO. Now available to any group of men ready to pursue God in earnest. What's inside: • Two short videos per session — a Mindfulness piece to open, a written Intro to set context • Scripture, a single sharp Point, and 3–5 table-group questions • A weekly MOVE — a real action you take between meetings (a geocache, a hike, a hard run, a written legacy…) • A personal journal that travels with you and can be ordered as a printed book at the end

  1. 01

    Pursue

    SCRIPTURE · MATTHEW 13:44-46

    The question this directive challenges you to answer is twofold: "Are you fully committed to those things you are pursuing?" and "Is what you are pursuing leading you to a valuable life?"

    Wander

    SCRIPTURE · MATTHEW 4:1-11

    Wander creates some space for you to look at your story no matter how you perceive it to be and reflect on the moments when you thought you were lost, but were not. God moves all around you. "Not all who wander are lost."

    Discover

    SCRIPTURE · EPHESIANS 2:1-9

    Whether you have found God yet or have always known yourself as a follower of God, this directive is to discover / rediscover Christ. So open yourself to discovering God through Christ again or for the first time.

    Sharpen

    SCRIPTURE · JUDE 1:17-25

    Your success in pursuing God is directly correlated to your connection to God through your time, His word, prayer, and His people. These are the things that will provide your strength to finish the race.

    Grit

    SCRIPTURE · HEBREWS 12:1-3

    Just because you are a believer and follower of Christ does not mean the path is now easy. In fact your life will often become more difficult at times. This segment is here to encourage you to make the best of times and see those times as guiding you. This approach will allow you to rise up and be better than when you began.

    Legacy

    SCRIPTURE · PSALMS 112:1-10

    This directive encourages us to be fully connected to the Kingdom and have a legacy beyond this world. A legacy left not just to our children and friends but to all those we encounter along the way.
